Huntsville International Airport’s parking deck expansion required demolition beside its existing parking structure. Lakeshore Environmental Contractors was tasked with removing a stair tower to clear the area for the next stage of construction. The work needed to stay on schedule while the airport remained in operation.

LEC planned the demolition around equipment access, lifting, debris removal, and protection of the surrounding area. The team coordinated with the project team and used heavy equipment to dismantle and remove the stair tower beside the existing deck.

LEC completed the stair tower demolition ahead of schedule, with no incidents and no interruption to airport operations. The completed work cleared the area for continued progress on the parking deck expansion.
