A large industrial facility in Huntsville, Alabama, needed lead dust remediation across approximately 150,000 square feet. Contamination affected overhead infrastructure, floors, stair treads, and other surfaces. The owner’s schedule allowed 90 days to complete the work and verify the results.

Lakeshore Environmental Contractors cleaned overhead surfaces including pipes, trusses, conduit, lights, and cable trays. The team also addressed affected stair treads, walls, and floors, with repeated floor cleaning during overhead work. Periodic testing guided the cleaning effort, and an independent industrial hygienist performed final clearance sampling.

LEC finished in 60 days, 30 days ahead of schedule, and passed all clearance testing. The project demonstrates LEC’s ability to organize and complete complex remediation across a large facility while meeting a demanding deadline.
